# 1 shows Brad Jr. working on Sam's hunting frock as the colonials
called them , the Seminoles called them long shirts and still do .
Picture # 2 Shows Brad Sr. changing the Abstract eagle to a
surrealistic eagle .Now it is going to take some time to make it
realistic. . These
picture entered March 10,2001.My Casio Camrea went caput .I tried to
contact the company by phone and that was like comunicating with a
vending machine.Guess I'll try a Sonny this time.Any way these
pictures were taken a couple of weeks back #3 showing the bear who
hasn't got much attention lately. Picture # 4 entered March
11,showing the first finished feathers .Now only a few more thousand
to go . Picture # 5 shows Brad Jr. welding on the hand that we just
cut from Big Sam .We wanted to change the angle of his hand ,and we
had only one small fire .

Brad Jr. takes Sam's head off for the last
time I hope , and makes some adjustments .The picture shows Brad Jr.
puting the head back and puting on some final detail Entered March 30
, 2001 . The picture showing two more feathers to add to the
thousands on the eagle.We welded and wired the two Ostridge feathers
that will connect Sam too the bird clan. Picture #2 shows the palm of
the hands that after being attached will never be seen again. This
the weekof April 6th our attention was on the leggins and hand woven
garter Picture # 8 shows the beginning of the left Leggin and the
bare foot that we will be puttiing the mocassin on.This week April
21, 2001 We have concentrated on the back side of the sculpture and
the wind spiral . Picture number # 9 we have given Sam shoes , but
they are not quite finished yet. They are of the type that were used
almost exclusively by the Seminole's These feathers in #10 are not
made with clay but with an epoxy putty. This product is hard to find
,but we are a distributor of this product that you will find on our

This picture #11 entered May 5, 2001 shows
Bradley and Rodney making wind . We have spent this past week March
11 ,2001 smoothing and detailing in preparation for molding Sam and
the Wind . Picture #12 shows his blood vessels ,wrinkles, and nails
on his hand. We Have flown in from Colorado C.M.Knight considered to
be one of the best mold makers in the country. Carla travels
throughout the country to artists studios making monumental molds She
has made monumental molds for Dave Mc Gary, Glenna Goodacre, Richard
Greeves, Herb Mignery, Bob Summers, plus George Lundeen. Picture #13
shows Bradley and Carla putting in shims to separate the mold into
sections. The #14 picture shows first of five coats of rubber. If you

were she well have a space. picture # 15 shows Bradleydoing a panel
in plaster. This mold will be well over 150 pieces for just Sam and
the wind.

June 15,2001 Picture # 16 shows Linda , my
favorite hemp person makiig hemp balls to reinforce the plaster
panal. pictures entered June 23. Picture #17 shows the maquette of
the panther with Dixie cup shims in place. pictures entered June 29
,2001 . Started back on the panther clan's this week by enlarging the
head and tail .At the end of the week I had taken off more clay them
I put on . Picture #19 is of Bradley cleaning and preparing the molds
for the foundry .This week was spent mostly packing the molds for Sam
and the wind. Getting ready to take them Bronze Services of Loveland
Colorado .
